Take a 45-degree angle.

Paint the top half of the surface with painters tape and paint it white.

For the nose, add eyes using black paint or marker. Attach a small branch to the tree with wood glue.

On 2×6 lumber, mark triangles (trees).

To cut triangles out of 2×6 lumber, use a circular saw (or jigsaw).

Sand the paint after it has dried.

All sides and paint can be stained.

You can add « lights » to your painting with paint markers, or simply dribble on the paint.

For each tree branch, cut in 3 cm sections. For added style, cut at a 45 degree angle.

Make a small hole for yarn or string. Apply chalkboard paint.

You can use a white paint pen to create designs or name gifts!

Draw your Santa Boot or Stocking design.

To cut the design, use a Dremel Rotary tool or Jigsaw. After cutting, be sure to sand the edges.

All you have to do is apply stain on all sides.

You can cut 4×4 lumber in a variety of lengths. If it is going to be on a table or mantle, the length should not exceed 0.6m.

Tape off any paint or sections with painters tape
